The pair changed their Twitter profiles to say “president elect” and “vice president elect” shortly after the Associated Press (AP) and other news outlets called Pennsylvania — and the presidency — for the Democratic presidential ticket on Saturday. It followed their projected win in Pennsylvania, where votes continued to be counted for more than three days following Tuesday’s election.
